Analysis of Pediatric Counselling Services in The Area of Impaired Communication Abilities

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na zajišťování poradenství a preventivní činnost pediatrů v oblasti narušené komunikační schopnosti dítěte. Teoretická část práce vychází z analýzy odborné literatury a zabývá se rozvojem komunikačních kompetencí u dítěte v předškolním věku, dále poskytováním logopedického poradenství v České republice, a to především pediatry. Empirická část představuje výzkumné šetření, jež bylo realizováno mezi praktickými lékaři pro děti a dorost, a jehož hlavním cílem bylo zjištění současné poradenské a preventivní činnosti pediatrů a jejich mezioborové spolupráce v oblasti narušené komunikační schopnosti.

Abstract:

The topic of the diploma thesis is focused on providing pediatric counseling services and prevention in the area of children´s impaired communication abilities. The theoretical part deals with the analysis of contemporary scientific literature. The emphasis is put on the development of communication skills of children at preschool age, means of providing of logopedic counseling in the Czech Republic and counseling services of pediatricians intended for families with children, with a special emphasis put on logopedic intervention. The second part of thesis contains processing and results of survey that was conducted among practitioners for children and adolescents. The goal of the research was to find out contemporary counseling services and methods of prevention by pediatricians, as well as to map inter-discipline interactions of pediatricians in the area of children´s impaired communication abilities.
