Natural potential, its conservation and possible uses in tourism in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na přírodní potenciál České republiky, jeho ochranu a využití v cestovním ruchu. Nejprve je charekterizována neživá a živá příroda České republiky, následně se práce zaobírá ochranou přírody a krajiny na státní i mezinárodní úrovni. Další kapitola je věnována vymezení typů cestovního ruchu, jež ke své realizaci primárně využívají přírodní prostředí. Nejvýznamnějším z nich jsou věnovány samostatné subkapitoly. Je rovněž nastíněn konflikt mezi využitím přírodního potenciálu a ochranou přírody a jsou zmíněna omezení pro provozování turistických aktivit, která vyplývají z legislativy. Na přírodní potenciál a jeho využití je posléze nahlíženo z pohledu jednotlivých turistických regionů. Na závěr se práce snaží najít kompromis mezi ochranou přírody a jejím využitím v cestovním ruchu a představuje takové formy cestovního ruchu, které respektují zásady udržitelného rozvoje.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the natural potential of the Czech Republic, its conservation and possible uses in tourism. Firstly, the animate and inanimate nature is characterised, the conservation of nature and landscape on the state and international level follows. The types of tourism, which primarily use natural surroundings to their realisation, are defined in the next part. The most important of them are described in the separated subchapters. Also the conflict between using the natural potential and conservation of nature is outlined and the restrictions of carrying on various touristic activities, arised from a legislation, are mentioned. The natural potential and its uses is afterward presented from the point of view of tourist regions. In conclusion, the thesis tries to find a compromise between conservation of nature and its uses in tourism and introduces the types of tourism, which respect the principles of sustainable development.
