Vojtech Mastny and his Activity at the Head of the Czechoslovak Embassy in Berlin
Abstract:
Práce je analýzou aktivity československého vyslance v Berlíně Vojtěcha Mastného mezi roky 1932 a 1939, kdy stál v čele tohoto zahraničního úřadu. Zkoumané události jsou dávány do kontextu s tehdejším politickým děním jak v Československé republice, tak v Německu. Výsledkem je komplexní náhled na necelých sedm let trvající působení diplomata na prestižním vyslanectví.
Abstract:
This thesis analyzes the activity of the Czech envoy in Berlin Vojtech Mastny between 1932 and 1939, when he was the head of embassy. Researched events are put in context with then political surroundings in the Czechoslovak Republic as well as in Germany. The outcome of this thesis is a complex preview of Mastny’s almost seven years lasting activity at this prestigious embassy.
