Support and preferences of urban public transport in Prague

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá analýzou stávajících preferenčních a podpůrných opatření MHD v hlavním městě Praze. Dále se zaměřuje na návrh konkrétních preferenčních opatření, vyhrazeného jízdního pruhu na ulici Evropská a úpravu stávajících preferenčních opatření na ulici Plzeňské. Poslední část práce porovnává navržená opatření se současným stavem a popisuje jejich přínosy a možná úskalí.

Abstract:

This paper deals with analysis of current preferential and supportive measures of urban public transport in Prague. It further focuses on proposing specific preferential measures: a dedicated lane in Evropská Street and adjustment of present preferential measures in Plzeňská Street. The last part of this thesis compares suggested steps with present situation and describes their contribution and possible difficulties.
