Impaired communication skills in pupils with mental disability

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na komunikační schopnost a narušenou komunikační schopnost u dětí s lehkou mentální retardací. Cílem této práce je mapovat a analyzovat roviny lexikálně-sémantické a foneticko-fonologické u žáků s lehkým mentálním postižením, kteří se vzdělávají v běžných třídách základní školy a ve speciálních třídách, zřízených pro žáky s mentálním postižením. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a na část výzkumnou. Teoretická část je dělena do dvou kapitol. Pozornost je věnována zejména mentální retardaci, narušené komunikační schopnosti u jedinců s lehkou mentální retardací, jazykovým rovinám, kterými se tato práce zabývá a možnostmi ve vzdělávání. Ve druhé části práce je popsáno výzkumné šetření a jeho výsledky. Pro výzkumné šetření je použita screeningová metoda - Orientační logopedické vyšetření. Zpracování výsledků má kvantitativní charakter. Součástí práce jsou závěry a doporučení pro speciálně pedagogickou praxi.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the communication ability and impaired communication ability in children suffering from mild intellectual disability. The thesis aims to survey and analyse the lexical-semantic and phonetic-phonological levels in pupils suffering from mild intellectual disability, who are educated in mainstream primary school classes and in specialised classes established for intellectually disabled pupils. The bachelor's thesis has been divided into a theoretical and research part. The theoretical part consists of three chapters. The focus has been placed especially on intellectual disability, the impaired communication ability in individuals suffering from mild intellectual disability and the above-mentioned linguistic levels. The second part of the thesis features survey research and its results. The survey research makes use of the orientation logopaedic examination screening method. The results have been processed qualitatively. The thesis includes conclusions and recommendations for practical usage in special pedagogic.
