Abstract:

Teoretické části bakalářské práce dominuje charakteristika forem péče o seniory v České republice. Pozornost je zaměřena nejen na pole domácí péče s možností využití terénních sociálních služeb usnadňujících péči o seniora v jeho přirozeném prostředí, ale zejména na problematiku ústavní péče. Uvádí potřeby seniorů, které by měla reflektovat nejen pečující rodina, ale i personál poskytující svým klientům v ústavních zařízeních komplexní péči. Práce se snaží charakterizovat možná úskalí kvality poskytované péče v domovech pro seniory a nejčastěji vyskytující se faktory ohrožující seniory v nich. Také se věnuje problematice stáří. Popisuje nejčastější fyziologické a psychické změny v stáří a charakterizuje sociální aspekty důchodového věku. Dále vykresluje péči a postavení seniora v kontextu historie a v současné době a vymezuje důležitost role pastorační péče u seniorů v otázce smrti. Empirickou část představuje výzkumné šetření realizované v Domově důchodců Borohrádek. Cílem bylo zjistit, jaká je spokojenost klientů s kvalitou poskytovaných sociálních služeb. Dílčím cílem výzkumného šetření bylo zmapovat možné rizikové faktory ohrožující seniory v domově.

Abstract:

Theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is dominated by the characteristics of forms of care provided for seniors in Czech Republic. Attention is focused not only on a field of home care, which makes use of possible cross-country social services to facilitate the care of seniors in their natural environment, but especially on dilemmas concerning institutional care. There are listed the needs of the seniors which should be respected not only by the family but also by the institutions providing care. This thesis studies possible obstacles preventing quality care in retirement homes and the most frequent factors endangering their clients. The bachelor thesis also concentrates on the age problems. It describes most frequent physiological and mental changes due to the old age and characterizes social aspects of the age of retirement. Further it studies the role of seniors in the context of history and present and it defines importance of the role of pastoral care of seniors as for the matter of death. Empirical part of the thesis presents experimental research which was realized in the retirement home in Borohrádek. The aim of the research was to find out the level of satisfaction of clients with provided social services. Partial aim of this research was to outline the possible risk factors endangering clients of the retirement home.
