Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem domácího násilí, účinností právních nástrojů k jeho řešení a předcházení. Jsou definovány formy, znaky a příčiny domácího násilí. Dále je charakterizována násilná osoba a její profil, oběti domácího násilí, rozdělení z viktimologického hlediska a druhy násilí, které jsou na nich páchány.
