Educational needs of workers in social services and their saturation

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je vzdělávání pracovníků v sociálních službách. Předkládaná práce má teoreticko-empirický charakter a je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola práce popisuje nastavení sociálních služeb v České republice. Daná kapitola uvádí druhy sociálních služeb a typy zařízení sociálních služeb. Podrobněji popisuje sociální službu domov pro seniory, a to se zaměřením na význam a personální zajištění. Dále se tato kapitola zabývá kvalitou v sociálních službách a zaměřuje se na profesi pracovníka v sociálních službách. Druhá kapitola předkládané práce se věnuje vzdělávání pracovníků v sociálních službách. Zaměřuje se na profesní vzdělávání, na odbornou způsobilost pracovníků v sociálních službách, na tvorbu vzdělávacího plánu a na podoby vzdělávání. Empirická část bakalářské práce obsahuje nejdříve kapitolu o metodologii průzkumu a dále kapitolu s interpretací průzkumných dat. Průzkum realizovaný v rámci přípravy této práce se věnuje otázce vzdělávání pracovníků v sociálních službách. Cílem průzkumu je zjistit, jak vzdělávání pracovníků v sociálních službách ovlivňuje jejich pracovní výkon, zda se pracovníci mohou aktivně podílet na tvorbě svého vzdělávacího plánu, a také na to, zda jim vzdělávání napomáhá v prevenci syndromu vyhoření a v jejich setrvání v sociální službě. Průzkum má kvalitativní design a jeho respondenty jsou čtyři pracovníci domova pro seniory. Průzkumná data byla získána metodou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Na základě provedené analýzy rozhovorů budou průzkumná data představena prostřednictvím témat, která byla průzkumníkem zvolena na základě komparace průzkumných dat. Jednotlivá témata budou poté diskutována s daty obecně uznávanými. V závěru bakalářské práce provede průzkumník reflexi daného průzkumu a vytvoří doporučení pro edukační praxi.

Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the education of workers in social services. The presented work has a theoretical-empirical character and is divided into four chapters. The first chapter describes the setting up of social services in the Czech Republic. The given chapter lists the types of social services and the types of social services facilities. It describes in more detail the social service of a home for the elderly, focusing on the importance and staffing. Furthermore, this chapter deals with quality in social services and focuses on the profession of worker in social services. The second chapter of the presented work deals with the education of workers in social services. It focuses on vocational education, on the professional competence of workers in social services, on the creation of an educational plan and on the forms of education. The empirical part of the bachelor's thesis contains first a chapter on survey methodology and then a chapter on the interpretation of survey data. The survey carried out in the preparation of this work deals with the issue of education of workers in social services. The aim of the survey is to find out how the education of workers in social services affects their work performance, whether workers can actively participate in the creation of their training plan, and also whether training helps them prevent burnout and stay in social services. The survey has a qualitative design and its respondents are four workers of a home for the elderly. Exploratory data were obtained by the method of semi-structured interviews. Based on the analysis of the interviews, the survey data will be presented through topics that were selected by the explorer based on a comparison of survey data. The individual topics will then be discussed with generally accepted data. At the end of the bachelor's thesis, the explorer will reflect on the survey and make recommendations for educational practice.
