Animation of Municipal Library in Louny

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pracuje s tématem animace Městské knihovny v Lounech, která se v roce 2010 přesunula ze starých nevyhovujících prostor do nových, dále rozebírá kulturní a sociální stav regionu a města Loun a popisuje občany tohoto města využívající služby knihovny. V neposlední řadě popisuje multifunkčnost knihovny, projekt jejího přesunu a její momentální funkčnost. Cílem této práce je potvrdit či vyvrátit úspěšnost procesu animace a analyzovat knihovnu coby kulturní centrum v Lounech.

Abstract:

This thesis works with the topic of animating Municipal Library in Louny, which relocated from old unusable area to a new one in the year 2010, as well as it analyses cultural and social status of city Louny and surrounding region, and describes the inhabitants of this city using various services of the Library. Last, but not least, this thesis describes the multifunctionality of the Library, the project of it's relocation and it's current functionality. The objective of this thesis is confirming or rejecting the success of animation process and to analyze the Library as the cultural center of Louny.
