An Analysis of the Lexicosemantic Language Level in 1st Grade Socially Disadvantaged Pupils

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí, a to části teoretické a části praktické. Diplomová práce je zaměřena na depistáž projevů narušené komunikační schopnosti v lexikálně-sémantické rovině u žáků žijících v sociokulturně znevýhodněném prostředí, kteří navštěvují prvních třídu základní školy. Cílem této práce je porovnání úrovně v oblasti lexikálně-sémantické jazykové roviny k dětem sociokulturně znevýhodněným. V teoretické části bylo využito studia a analýzy odborné literatury a dosavadní úrovně poznání v této oblasti. Primárně byla pozornost věnována jazykovým rovinám či základním pojmům z oblasti komunikace. Oblast sociokulturního znevýhodnění zde byla zohledněna i z legislativního vymezení těchto pojmů. V empirické části byl proveden jak popis výzkumného vzorku, tak i samotný výzkumný výzkum. V rámci šetření bylo provedeno screeningové šetření s cílem stanovit oslabení v lexikálně-sémantické jazykové rovině výrazně související se symptomy sociokulturního znevýhodnění v komparaci skupiny žáků intaktních. Na základě této komparace jsou formulována doporučení pro speciálně pedagogickou praxi. Diplomovou práci ukončuje diskuse a závěr.

Abstract:

The thesis consists of two main parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The diploma thesis is focused on the detection of manifestations of disturbed communication ability in the lexical-semantic level of pupils living in socio-culturally disadvantaged environment who attend the first class of elementary school. The aim of this work is to compare the level of lexical-semantic language level to children with socio-cultural disadvantage. In the theoretical part was used study and analysis of professional literature and the current level of knowledge in this area. Primarily, attention was paid to language levels or basic concepts of communication. The area of socio-cultural disadvantage was also taken into account in the legislative definition of these terms. In the empirical part, both the description of the research sample and the research itself were carried out. A screening survey was carried out in order to determine the attenuation in the lexical-semantic language level, which is strongly related to the symptoms of socio-cultural disadvantage in the comparison of intact pupils. Based on this comparison, recommendations for special pedagogical practice are formulated. The thesis concludes with discussion and conclusion.
