Taking Care of a Woman in Puerperium in Community Care

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje péči porodní asistentky o ženu v období šestinedělí v komunitním prostředí. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část popisuje šestinedělí, fyziologické změny po porodu a komplikace, které se mohou projevit v rámci šesti týdnů po porodu. Zabývá se laktací, životním stylem a péčí o rodinu a novorozence. Dále popisuje péči poskytovanou porodní asistentkou v období šestinedělí v komunitním prostředí. Praktická část je tvořena kvantitativním výzkumem. Cílem dotazníkového šetření je zjistit povědomí žen o možnosti péče porodní asistentky v rámci šestinedělí v komunitní péči. Dále představuje výsledky výzkumu, které poukazují na nedostatečné povědomí žen o komunitní péči v šestinedělí a zároveň velmi nízké procento rozšířenosti této služby. I přes tyto faktory by ženy o tuto péči měly zájem a myslí si, že je pro ostatní ženy přínosná.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is devoted to the care of a midwife for a woman in the puerperium period in community environment. It is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes puerperium, physiological changes after childbirth, and complications that may occur within six weeks after childbirth. It deals with lactation, lifestyle, and family and newborn care. It also describes the care of a midwife during the puerperium period in community environment. The practical part consists of quantitative research. The questionnaire survey aims to find out women's awareness about the posibility of midwifery care within the puerperium in community care. It further presents research results that point to women's lack of awareness of community-based care in the puerperium period and at the same time a very low percentage of the prevalence of this service. Despite these factors, women would be interested in this care and think it is beneficial for other women.
