Financial analysis of the company Čepro, a. s.

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je vypracovat externí finanční analýzu společnosti ČEPRO, a. s., pro obchodní partnery za roky 2013-2017, a na jejím základě zhodnotit finanční stabilitu a zdraví společnosti. Práce je rozdělena do tři hlavních části. V první – metodické části je popsán předmět finanční analýzy včetně základních metod finanční analýzy, zdrojů informací pro finanční analýzu a bonitních a bankrotních modelů. Ve druhé části je představena analyzovaná společnost spolu s vybranými konkurenty. Praktická část se věnuje dříve popsaným metodám, jako jsou horizontální a vertikální analýzy, výpočtu poměrových ukazatelů se srovnáním s konkurencí a bankrotním a bonitním modelům. Závěr práce představuje celkové shrnutí finanční analýzy. Na základě provedené finanční analýzy nebyly zjištěny žádné významné hrozby, které by ovlivnily dosavadní chování společnosti nebo obchodní partnery.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to develop an external financial analysis of ČEPRO, a. s., for trading partners during the period of 2013–2017 and on basis to evaluate its financial stability and health of the company. The thesis is divided into three main parts. In the first – methodical part, there is being described the object of financial analysis including main methods, the source of information for financial analysis and bankruptcy and scoring models. In the second part, there is the analysed company introduced with its competitors that were selected. Practical part is being devoted to methods examined earlier, such as horizontal and vertical analyses, calculation of ratio indicators and comparison with direct competitors and testing with bankruptcy and scoring models. The conclusion of this bachelor thesis provides overall summary financial analysis. Based on financial analysis there has not been detected any signifivant threats which would affect current behaviour of the company or its business partners.
