The diploma thesis focuses on the constructions of anorexia nervosa in media. Using the method of qualitative content analysis and the theory of social constructionism, the thesis compares selected media products (psycho-educational movie, television movie and leaflets) in relation to specific constructions of anorexia nervosa.
