Information for managing enterprise

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku informačních potřeb manažerů pro finanční řízení podniku, zabezpečení těchto informací účetním softwarem a postavení a funkci controllingu v rámci informačních toků v podniku. Teoretická část se soustřeďuje na poznatky z oblasti reportingu, jaké finančně-účetní informace jsou nutné pro řízení podniku, požadavky na výstupy controllingu, které tyto informace poskytnou, požadavky, které odborná literatura klade na strukturu výstupů zpráv o finančně-ekonomické pozici příslušné oblasti, za kterou manažer odpovídá. Cílem praktické části práce je zhodnocení stávajícího informačního systému podpory manažerů ve společnosti Starobrno a.s. a návrh oblastí, ve kterých by bylo vhodné stávající ruční zpracování controllingových zpráv v Excelu nahradit speciální sestavou využívaného systému SAP. Pro porovnání obou alternativních řešení zpracování informací je použita metoda analýzy užitku a odhad nákladů, které by si změna stávajícího řešení vyžádala.

Abstract:

This bachelors work is focused on problems of information needs of managers concerning financial management of a company, obtaining of this information by accounting software and next also a position and a function of controlling within the frame of information company flows. Theroretical part of the work concentrates on findings in the field of reporting, what financial- accounting information are necessary for managing a company, demands on the outcomes of controlling that this information provide, demands set by professional literature on structure of outcomes about financial-economic position of relevant area which the manager is responsible for. The Aim of a practical part of this work is an evaluation of existing information system of management support in the company Starobrno a.s. and a proposal of areas where it would be suitable to replace existing manual processing of controlling reports in Excel by a special configuration of system SAP. To compare both alternative solutions of information processing, there is used a method of utility analysis and costs estimation that would be caused by this change.
