The nursing process of patient with vocal cord tumor

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na ošetřovatelský proces u pacienta s nádorem hlasivek. Součástí práce je celý diagnosticko-terapeutický proces, který pacient absolvoval. Od předoperačních vyšetření až po rekonvalescenci po provedené totální laryngektomii. V bakalářské práci byly stanoveny ošetřovatelské domény dle NANDA Taxonomie II, které se týkají potřeb pacienta. Teoretická část pojednává o incidenci, rizikových faktorech, patologii a diagnostice. V těchto kapitolách je čtenář obeznámen se základní patofyziologií onemocnění, vyšetřovacími postupy a možnostmi léčby. V následné teoretické části je zahrnuta ošetřovatelská péče o pacienta s nádorem hrtanu. Popsána je předoperační péče, která se rozděluje na dlouhodobou, krátkodobou a bezprostřední přípravu pacienta. Dále je pozornost věnována intraoperační a pooperační péči, poukazuje se zde na riziko pooperačních komplikací a důležitost péče o drény, vyprázdnění a výživu, komunikaci s pacientem a správné sledování bolesti a psychického stavu. Praktickou část tvoří formulace problému a cíl práce. Následně je prezentován individuální případ pacienta s nádorem hrtanu. Charakterizován je jak pacient, tak onemocnění. Popsáno je ošetřovatelské posouzení a průběh hospitalizace a na jejich základě jsou vybrány adekvátní ošetřovatelské diagnózy, jejich realizace a zhodnocení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the nursing process in a patient with vocal cord cancer. This work covers diagnostic and therapeutic process that the patient completed. From preoperative examinations to healing process and rehabilitation after a total laryngectomy. In the bachelor's thesis, nursing domains according to NANDA Taxonomy II were determined, which relate to the needs of the patient. The theoretical part deals with incidence, risk factors, pathology and diagnostic process. In these chapters, the reader is acquainted with the basic pathophysiology of the disease, examination procedures and treatment options. The subsequent theoretical part includes nursing care for a patient with laryngeal cancer. Preoperative care is divided into long-term, short-term and immediate patient preparation. Furthermore, attention is paid to intraoperative and postoperative care, the risks of postoperative complications, the importance of care for drains, nutrition, communication with the patient and proper monitoring of pain and mental state. The practical part consists of the formulation of the problem and the goal of the work. Subsequently, an individual case of a patient with laryngeal cancer is presented. Both the patient and the disease are characterized. The nursing assessment and the course of hospitalization are described and based on them adequate nursing diagnoses, their implementation and evaluation are selected.
