Corporate Social Responsibility of Mining Companies in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce na téma „Společenská odpovědnost těžebních podniků v České republice“ je analýza uplatňování společenské odpovědnosti vybraných těžebních podniků v České republice. Práce je rozdělena na 2 části. První část na základě odborné literatury vysvětluje koncept společenské odpovědnosti firem, který zahrnuje její historii, a také definici slova stakeholder. Dále jsou uvedeny 3 základní oblasti CSR a nedílnou součástí je také vymezení moderních nástrojů CSR. Poslední kapitolou teoretické části je porovnání společenské odpovědnosti v ČR a v zahraničí. V druhé, tedy praktické části jsou nejdříve představeny vybrané těžební podniky, které jsou následně analyzovány porovnány v uplatňování společenské odpovědnosti v jejich firemní praxi.

Abstract:

The subjekt of the bachelor thesis on topic „Corporate social responsibility of mining companies in Czech republic“ is the analysis of the aplication of the corporate social responsibility in selected mining companies. Bachelor’s thesis is dividend into two parts. The first part explains on the basis of literature the koncept of corporate social responsibility wich includes history and the definitiv of the term stakeholder. It also provides free basic areas of corporate social responsibility and the definition of the CSR modern tools is indispensable part of the thesis as well. The last chapter of the theoretical part concerns with the social responsibility in the Czech Republic and abroad. In the application part of the thesis are introduced free chosen minig companies, followed by their detail analysis and the comparison of their social responsibility application in their corporate practice.
