Social Responsibility in Relation to Human Resources of an Organization

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci pojednávám o společenské odpovědnosti ve vztahu k zaměstnancům organizace. Zaměstnanecká politika se stává jednou z priorit společenské odpovědnosti, proto jsem si ji vybrala jako téma své práce. Především ziskové podniky mohou přispět ke zkvalitnění životů svých zaměstnanců, a tedy i regionu. V teoretické části práce byly vymezeny pojmy a oblasti vztahující se k této problematice, zejména vymezení společenské odpovědnosti, vnitřní komunikace podniku, politická komunikace, procesy řízení lidských zdrojů aj. V aplikační části se zabývám konkrétními zaměstnaneckými programy podniku Mostecká uhelná a.s., podporou benefitů institucemi veřejné správy a spoluprací Mostecké uhelné s veřejným sektorem. Zde se věnuji dotazníkovému šetření mezi obyvateli Mostecka, jejich názorům na odpovědnost MUS v zaměstnanecké oblasti. Závěrem oceňuji odpovědnost Mostecké uhelné ve vztahu ke svým zaměstnancům. Zároveň předkládám návrhy a doporučení v oblasti oddanosti a motivace. Zaměstnanecká politika a společenská odpovědnost jsou považovány faktory růstu výkonnosti organizace.

Abstract:

In my thesis I am discussing the social responsibility in relation to the employees of an organization. The aim of my thesis is to analyze employment politics as one of the priorities of the social responsibility. In particular profitable companies can contribute to improve the quality-life of their employees and so the region. The theoretical part focuses on concepts and areas such as social responsibility, internal communication within a company, political communication, human resources management processes, and others. The application part presents concrete employees’ programs of Mostecka uhelna a.s. company, benefits support by institutions of the public administration and cooperation of Mostecka uhelna a.s. with the public sector. In addition a questionnaire was conducted among the people of Most in order to understand their opinion about the MUS responsibility in the area of employment. In conclusion I acknowledge the responsibility of MUS in relation to its employees and make various suggestions and recommendations in the areas of loyalty and motivation. Employment politics and social responsibility are considered to be among the factors which affect the organization productivity growth.
