Nursing Process in Care of Patient with Infection Caused by Clostridium Difficile

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na ošetřovatelský proces u pacienta s infekcí způsobenou Clostridium difficile. Klostridiová infekce způsobuje ve vyspělých zemích světa nejčastější nozokomiální nákazy způsobené nedostatečným dodržováním základních hygienických postupů ošetřujícího personálu. Cílem práce bylo zpracovat názorný plán ošetřovatelské péče u konkrétního pacienta s infekcí způsobenou Clostridium difficile. Byly stanoveny ošetřovatelské diagnózy dle NANDA International Taxonomie II, zaměřené na potřeby konkrétní pacientky. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část se zabývá patogenezí, etiologií, klinickým obrazem, diagnostikou, možností terapie a prevencí infekce způsobenou Clostridiem difficile. V druhé části se pozastavujeme nad rolí sestry v ošetřovatelské péči o pacienta s klostridiovou infekcí. Praktická část je zaměřena na potřeby konkrétního pacienta s diagnostikovanou klostridiovou infekcí. V této části je popsána doba od přijetí pacienta, počátek, průběh klostridiové infekce a následné hodnocení ošetřovatelské péče před překladem na infekční oddělení. V bakalářské práci jsou rozpracovány pouze tři hlavní ošetřovatelské diagnózy. Kompletní plán ošetřovatelské péče je uveden v příloze.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the process of nursing patients with infections caused by Clostridium difficile. The most common nosocomial infections of Clostridium difficile causes in developed countries of the world are caused by lack of respect for basic hygiene practices of the attending staff. The aim of this work was to produce a nursing plan for patient with an infection caused by Clostridium difficile. Nursing diagnoses were identified from NANDA International Taxonomy II, and focused on the needs of this particular patient. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the pathogenesis, ethiology, clinical picture, diagnosis, treatment options and prevention of infection caused by Clostridiem difficile. The second part of the thesis looks at the role of nurses caring for a patient with Clostridium difficile infection. The practical part is focused on the needs of a specific patient diagnosed with Clostridium difficile infection. In this section we look at the patient from time of admission, progress of Clostridium difficile infection and subsequent evaluation of nursing care before transport to the Infectious Department. The thesis evaluates only three main nursing diagnoses. A complete plan of nursing care is given in the annex.
