Evaluation of Selected Aspects of Inclusive Education in Primary Schools´ Practise

Abstract:

Novela školského zákona, která vešla v platnost v září 2016, zahájila proces postupného prosazování konceptu inkluze do českého vzdělávacího systému a odstartovala změny v každodenní školní praxi. Po více než dvou letech je již z pohledu pedagogů možné hodnotit dopad realizovaných změn. Diplomová práce je proto tematicky orientována na hodnocení vybraných aspektů inkluze v edukační praxi základních škol. Teoretická východiska práce mimo jiné vychází z aktuálních poznatků v oblasti vzdělávání dětí a žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami, v oblasti inkluzivního vzdělávání a platné školské legislativy. Pozornost je věnována také využívání podpůrných opatření ve vztahu k individuální podpoře žáků. Empirická část je věnována prezentaci kvantitativně orientovaného výzkumného šetření zacíleného na hodnocení zkušeností pedagogů v oblasti prosazování konceptu inkluze do pedagogické praxe. Výstupem práce je mimo jiné vymezení rizikových míst, zhodnocení potřeb pedagogické praxe ve vztahu k prosazování inkluze a formulace strukturovaných doporučení pro jejich naplňování.

Abstract:

The amendment to the Education Act, which entered into force in September 2016, began the process of gradual enforcement of the concept of inclusion into the Czech educational system and started changes in everyday school practice. More than two years later, it is already possible to evaluate, from the teachers' viewpoint, the impact of the changes made. The thesis is therefore thematically oriented on the evaluation of selected aspects of inclusion in the educational practice of elementary schools. The theoretical basis of work is based, among other things, on current knowledge in the field of education of children and pupils with special educational needs, in the area of inclusive education and valid school legislation. Attention is also paid to the use of supportive measures in relation to individual support for pupils. The empirical part is devoted to the presentation of a quantitative research survey targeting the evaluation of pedagogical experience in the field of promoting the concept of inclusion into pedagogical practice. The output of the thesis is, among other things, the definition of risk points, the assessment of the needs of pedagogical practice in relation to the promotion of inclusion and the formulation of structured recommendations for their fulfilment.
