The importance of keeping nursing documentation in the selected inpatient department – a subject of revision and control activities of VZP Czech Republic

Abstract:

Zdravotnická dokumentace se skládá z dokumentace lékaře a ošetřovatelské dokumentace středně zdravotnických pracovníků a je obrazem nejen objemu, ale i kvality poskytnuté péče pacientovi. Ošetřovatelská dokumentace se vedle lékařské stala nedílnou součástí podkladů při revizní činnosti zdravotních pojišťoven, a to při kontrole oprávněnosti vyúčtování zdravotní péče. Bakalářská práce se zabývá ošetřovatelskou dokumentací, její kvalitou a nejčastějšími chybami nalezenými při revizní činnosti zdravotní pojišťovny. Teoretická část práce se zabývá literaturou týkající se ošetřovatelské dokumentace. Praktická část je zaměřena na nejčastější chyby v ošetřovatelské dokumentaci při revizní činnosti v konkrétním zdravotnickém zařízení.

Abstract:

The medicinal documentation includes the medical documentation and the nursing documentation of intermediate health care professionals. It is a picture of the volume and the quality of the health care provided to the patient. The nursing documentation has become an integral part of the basis for the review activities of health insurance companies for the checking the legitimacy of health care billing. The bachelor thesis focuses on the nursing documentation, its quality and the most common errors founded during the audit activity by Health insurance companies. The theoretical part of the thesis engages in literature related to nursing documentation. The practical part focuses on the most common errors in the nursing documentation during the audit activity in the specific health care facility.
