Cynology and its utilization by componets of integrated rescue system (foreign cooperation)

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem "Kynologie a její využití složkami integrovaného záchranného systému (zahraniční spolupráce)" se zabývá analýzou a hodnocením efektivity a praktického nasazení služebních psů u složek integrovaného záchranného systému (dále jen „IZS“) v České republice. Cílem je posoudit klíčové aspekty služební kynologie, včetně metod výcviku, operativního nasazení a mezinárodní spolupráce. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí - teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část poskytuje základní teoretický rámec o kynologii, popisuje různé typy služebních psů a jejich specifické využití v rámci jednotlivých složek IZS, a dále se zabývá legislativním a organizačním rámcem, který reguluje tuto oblast. Praktická část je zaměřena na empirický výzkum, který byl realizován formou dotazníkového šetření a rozhovorů s příslušníky IZS. Tyto metody umožnily získat detailní údaje o stávajícím využití, percepci efektivity a potenciálních výzvách v nasazení služebních psů.

Abstract:

The master thesis entitled "Cynology and its utilization by componets of integrated rescue system (foreign cooperation)" deals with the analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness and practical deployment of service dogs by the Integrated Rescue System in the Czech Republic. The aim is to assess key aspects of service cynology, including training methods, operational deployment and international cooperation. The work is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part provides a basic theoretical framework on cynology, describes different types of service dogs and their specific use within the individual components of the IRS, and also deals with the legislative and organisational framework that regulates this area. The practical part focuses on empirical research, which was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey and interviews with members of the IRS. These methods allowed to obtain detailed data on the current use, perception of effectiveness and potential challenges in the deployment of service dogs.
