The nursing process in a patient with acute pancreatitis

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou ošetřovatelského procesu u konkrétního pacienta s akutní pankreatitidou. Toto onemocnění patří mezi nejzávažnější náhle příhody břišní, které může končit až smrtí. Akutní pankreatitida má různý průběh nemoci a vždy vyžaduje hospitalizaci na chirurgickém oddělení nebo na jednotce intenzivní péče dle závažnosti stavu. Cílem práce je vytvoření názorného plánu péče vycházejícího z ošetřovatelských diagnóz NANDA International taxonomie II, jež se vztahují ke konkrétním potřebám jedince. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část zahrnuje dvě kapitoly. První z kapitol teoretické části charakterizuje diagnózu akutní pankreatitida -příčiny, příznaky, diagnostiku, komplikace a léčbu konzervativní a chirurgickou. Druhá kapitola teoretické části je zaměřena na ošetřovatelský proces u pacienta s akutní pankreatitidou. Zde je popsáno přijetí pacienta na oddělení, výživa, vyprazdňování, hygienická péče, psychická podpora pacienta, aktivita a spánek, péče o žilní vstupy, příprava pacienta na vyšetření a dále popisuje co je to ošetřovatelský proces. Druhá část bakalářské práce je věnovaná části praktické, ve které je vypracován ošetřovatelský proces u vybraného pacienta s akutní pankreatitidou. Ošetřovatelský proces vychází ze stanovených ošetřovatelských diagnóz NANDA International II. Zde je shrnuto období hospitalizace na chirurgické jednotce intenzivní péče v NsP Karviná - Ráj.

Abstract:

My Bachelor thesis deals with nursing process of patient with acute pancreatitis. This disease is one of the most serious sudden abdominal episodes that could cause even death. Acute pancreatitis has a different course of disease and always requires hospitalization in the surgical ward or in intensive care unit according to severity. The aim of this thesis is to create an illustrative plan of care based on nursing diagnoses of NANDA International taxonomy II, which relate to specific needs of the individual. The Bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes two chapters. The first chapter of the theoretical part characterizes the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis - causes, symptoms, diagnosis, complications and conservative and surgical treatment. The second chapter of the theoretical part is focused on the nursing proces in a patient with acute pancreatitis. It describes patient acceptance to the department, nutrition, excretion, hygiene care, patient psychological support, activity and sleep, venous inputs care, patient preparation for examination, and finally what is the nursing process. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the practical part, in which is the nursing process in a selected patient with acute pancreatitis is elaborated. The nursing process is based on the established nursing diagnoses of NANDA International II. Here is summarized the period of hospitalization at the surgical intensive care unit in the Karviná - Ráj NsP.
