Tato diplomová práce má přiblížit historické počátky fúzí a jejich následný vývoj. Samotný proces fúze a akvizice, řešení problémů s ní spjatých. Zabývá se legislativní stránkou projektu fúze, oceněním podniku, spravedlivým přidělením podílů na nově vzniklé společnosti a technickým průběhem celého procesu.
