Socially excluded localities in area SO ORP Děčín

Abstract:

Sociálně vyloučené lokality jsou části města, ulice, nebo i jednotlivé budovy, kde dochází k vyšší koncentraci sociálně vyloučených osob. Svou podobou a velikostí se od sebe navzájem odlišují. V Děčíně žije z různých příčin určité procento sociálně vyloučených osob také a tak jsou zde i sociálně vyloučené lokality. Strategický plán pro sociální začleňování v Děčíně vymezil tři takové lokality na území města. I v Děčíně se od sebe tyto lokality navzájem liší, ať už velikostí, stavem nemovitostí, či mírou prostorového vyloučení. Spojuje je však jejich obyvatelstvo, které je v Děčíně mezi jednotlivými lokalitami navzájem propojené. Sociálně vyloučené obyvatelstvo se potýká s celou řadou problémů pramenících z nezaměstnanosti, nízkého vzdělání, nízkého sociálního statusu a mnohdy i z diskriminace. Problematické je i soužití těchto obyvatel s majoritou. Místní samospráva se snaží do vztahů mezi sociálně vyloučenými a ostatními zasahovat, mnohdy zasahuje i přímo do životů "lidí na okraji". V Děčíně působí i různé neziskové organizace a sdružení. Ti usilují o snížení dopadů sociálního vyloučení a popřípadě o integraci sociálně vyloučených osob do většinové společnosti.

Abstract:

Socially excluded localities are parts of city, street or even individual buildings, where is a higher concentration of socially excluded persons. They differ from each other by their shape and their size. For various reasons, a certain percentage of socially excluded people also live in Děčín, and so there are also socially excluded localities. The Strategic Plan for Social Inclusion in Děčín defined three such localities in the city. Even in Děčín, these localities differ from each other, either in size, condition of estates or the degree of spatial exclusion. However, they are connected by their population, which is interconnected in individual places. The socially excluded population faces a number of problems stemming from unemployment, low education, low social status and often discrimination. The local government tries to interfere in the relations between the socially excluded and other citizens, often interfering directly in the lives of "people on the margins". There are also various non-profit organizations and associations in Děčín. They seek to reduce the effects of social exclusion and, where appropriate, to integrate socially excluded people into mainstream society.
