Tématem této bakalářské práce je překlad vlastních jmen v knize spisovatele Miloše Macourka Mach a Šebestová. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny termíny jako je lexikologie, onomastika, vlastní jména, topomastika, překladatelství, překlad pohádek a dále pak nejčastější překladatelské postupy.
