Web application designed to educate football referees

Abstract:

Rozhodčí – diskutované téma v České republice hráči, fanoušky nebo novináři. Málokdo z těchto fotbalových nadšenců si vůbec uvědomuje, že jednou z podmínek pro jejich činnost je splnění teoretických testů.Samotní rozhodčí se připravují pomocí různých prostředků. Chybí ale dostupný způsob, jak se na tyto testy připravit bez větší časové náročnosti. Cílem této práce je návrh a implementace webové aplikace, která by rozhodčím pomáhala a ušetřila by jim čas strávený nad přípravou stejně jako finanční a materiálové náklady s ní spojené.Práce je rozdělena do části teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části je popsáno, jakým způsobem momentálně testování probíhá a jak se rozhodčí připravují. Dále je vyhotoven výzkum, který ukazuje, jak moc je nové řešení jejich přípravy potřebné a jaké by měly být základní principy samotné aplikace. V této části jsou také zanalyzovány současné možnosti vzdělávání rozhodčích jak v českém, tak anglickém jazyce. Na tuto část je navázáno praktickou částí, která obsahuje postup vývoje softwaru dle Metodiky Malých softwarových projektů (Rejnková 2011).Autor se v průběhu tvoření této práce pokouší o navázání spolupráce s tzv. Pravidlovou komisí Fotbalové asociace České republiky (fotbal.cz 2019b) s tím předpokladem, že práci a samotnou aplikaci by rád dále rozvíjel v následujících letech, aby v budoucnu mohla plně nahradit tradiční přípravu rozhodčích a také jejich samotné testování.Aplikace však nebude sloužit pouze rozhodčím, ačkoliv se jedná o největší cílovou skupinu. Může mj. dobře posloužit také trenérům, kteří se připravují na zkoušky trenérských licencí a samozřejmě může pomoci také hráčům, funkcionářům nebo fotbalovým fanouškům v tom, aby se ve svých znalostech fotbalových norem posunuli dále.Výstupem této práce je tedy webová aplikace umístěná na vhodně zvolené doméně poskytující uživatelům vzdělávání v oblasti fotbalových norem.

Abstract:

Referees – discussed topic in the Czech Republic by players, fans or journalists. Few of these football enthusiasts realize that one of the preconditions for their activity is to pass theoretical tests.The referees themselves are prepared in different ways. But there is no effective way to prepare for these tests without spending much time learning. The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a web application that would help referees prepare for these tests and save them the time spent on preparation as well as the financial and material costs associated with it.The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes how the testing is currently in progress and how the referees are preparing themselves. There is also a research that shows how much new solutions are needed and what the basic principles of the application itself should be. This section analyses the current possibilities of learning in both Czech and English. This part is tied to the practical part, which contains the software development procedure according to the Methodology of Small Software Projects (Rejnková 2011).In the course of this work, the author attempts to establish cooperation with the Rule Committee of the Football Association of the Czech Republic (fotbal.cz 2019c) with the assumption that he would like to further develop the work and the application itself in the coming years in order to fully replace the traditional preparation of referees as well as their testing.However, the application will not be used by the referees only, although it is the largest target group. Among other things, it can also help coaches who are preparing for coaching license exams and can, of course, also help players, team officials or football fans to move forward in their knowledge of football standards.The output of this work is a web application located on a suitably selected domain providing users education in the field of football standards.
