Mortgage Market in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Hypoteční trh v České republice“ je zaměřena na problematiku hypotečního úvěrování v České republice. Popisuje charakteristiku hypotečního úvěru a jeho legislativní úpravu. Dále je pozornost zaměřena na vymezení hypotečního trhu včetně vývoje hypotečního bankovnictví od jeho historického vzniku až po současnost. Součástí je i zhodnocení vývojových tendencí pomocí grafů či tabulek a predikce budoucnosti hypotečního úvěrování. Poslední kapitola je věnována analýze hypotečního trhu s důrazem na zhodnocení rizik pro banky, spotřebitele a rovnováhu finančních trhů. Závěr je shrnutím skutečností a vyplývajících doporučení.

Abstract:

This thesis called “Mortgage market in the Czech republic” is focused on mortgage lending in the Czech Republic. It describes the characteristics of the mortgage loan and related legislation. Attention is also focused on the definition of the mortgage market including the development of mortgage banking from its historical inception up to the present time. It also includes assessment of trends using graphs or tables and prediction of future mortgage lending. The last chapter is devoted to analysis of the mortgage market with an emphasis on risk assessment for banks, consumers and the balance of financial markets. The conclusion is a summary of the facts and recommendations arising.
