Social representations of people with Islamic beliefs according to social workers, managers and psychologists

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku sociálních reprezentací osob s islámským vyznáním pocházejících z jižní a jihozápadní Asie. Cílem diplomové práce je konceptualizace těchto reprezentací v kontextu české společnosti a v kontextu evropského uchopení sociální práce. Teoretická část práce se věnuje interkulturnímu kontextu pro sociální práci, teoretickým východiskám sociální práce a možnostem poskytování psychologických intervencí s ohledem na kulturní a náboženské pozadí klientova vnímání světa. Interpretační část práce se následně věnuje problematice pojetí sociálních reprezentací a problematice poskytování sociálních služeb definované cílové skupině ze strany sociálních pracovníků, vedoucích pracovníků a psychologů, a to na základě získaných výpovědí 11 respondentů. S respondenty jsem realizovala polostrukturovaný kvalitativní výzkumný rozhovor, který mi umožnil, na základě jeho přepisu, identifikovat kategorie, subkategorie a dimenze jednotlivých témat, kterým se podrobněji věnuji v interpretační části práce.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the issue of social representations of people with Islamic religions from South and Southwest Asia according to social workers, managers, and psychologists. The diploma thesis aims to conceptualize these representations in the context of Czech society and in the context of the European grasp of social work. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the social work intercultural context, the theoretical basis of social work and the possibilities of providing psychological interventions with respect to the cultural and religious background of the client's perception of the world. The third part of the thesis focuses on the issue of the concept of social representations and the provision of social services to a defined target group according to social workers, managers, and psychologists, based on the statements of 11 respondents. I carried out a semi-structured qualitative research interview with the respondents, which allowed me, based on its transcription, to identify the categories, subcategories, and dimensions of individual topics, which I address in more detail in the third part of the work.
