Specific Learning Disorders of Younger School Age Pupils

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou řečové úrovně dětí na počátku školní docházky, se zřetelem k výskytu a spojitosti narušené komunikační schopnosti a poruch učení. V teoretické části práce jsou charakterizovány hlavní pojmy, přiblížena je komunikace dětí na počátku školní docházky, specifika narušené komunikační schopnosti u těchto dětí, včetně jejího vlivu na specifické poruchy učení. Pozornost je věnována možnostem diagnostiky a prevence v této oblasti, detailněji je pojednáno o významu specifického logopedického nálezu a orientačního logopedického vyšetření. V praktické části je popsán kvantitativní výzkum provedený na vzorku 50 žáků prvních tříd. Prostřednictvím dotazníku a Testu rizika poruch čtení a psaní pro rané školáky byla zkoumána souvislost mezi narušenou komunikační schopností a specifickými poruchami učení. V diskusi jsou hlavní výsledky výzkumu komparovány s teoretickými východisky a v závěru diplomové práce jsou formulována doporučení vyplývající z hlavních zjištění realizovaného šetření.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with problems of the speech level of children at the beginning of school attendance, with regard to the occurrence and continuity of impaired communication skills and learning disabilities. In the theoretical part of the thesis are characterized the main concepts, the communication of children at the beginning of school attendance, the specific communication disorders impaired in these children, including its influence on specific learning disorders. Attention is paid to the possibilities of diagnosis and prevention in this area, and in more detail the importance of a specific logopedic finding and orienteering speechopedic examination is discussed. The practical part describes quantitative research on a sample of 50 pupils of first grades. Through the questionnaire and the Risk of Reading and Writing Disorders Risk Test for early schoolchildren, the relationship between impaired communication ability and specific learning disabilities was examined. In the discussion, the main research results are compared with the theoretical bases and at the end of the thesis are formulated recommendations resulting from the main findings of the survey.
