Creation of opportunities to develop reading literacy in the second educational period through regional resources

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím regionálních textů k rozvíjení čtenářské gramotnosti ve 2. vzdělávacím období. V prvních třech kapitolách dochází k vymezení pojmu čtenářské gramotnosti, zakotvení tohoto učiva v RVP ZV, srovnání úrovně čtenářské gramotnosti českých žáků se žáky ostatních zemí v mezinárodních šetřeních a uvedením výukových metod a čtenářských strategií, které žáci uplatňují. Zároveň je vymezeno, jakým způsobem lze využívat regionální prvky ve výuce. Kapitola čtvrtá pak zahrnuje metodický materiál obsahující osm připravených a realizovaných výukových lekcí, které představují praktické využití regionálních textů k rozvíjení čtenářské gramotnosti. Lekce byly vedeny a reflektovány za pomoci kolegů a jsou doplněny o doporučení do praxe.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the usage of regional texts for developing the reading literacy of pupils in the second educational period. The theoretical part includes the definition of the term reading literacy, the integration of reading literacy into the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education, the comparison of Czech pupils‘ level of reading literacy with pupils from the other countries in international researches and the presentation of teaching methods and reading strategies that pupils use. The thesis also includes the presentation of possible ways of using regional elements in the educational process. The fourth chapter brings methodical material which was prepared and used during lessons. These lessons present the practical usage of regional texts for developing reading literacy. Lessons were conducted and reflected with the help of my colleagues and they are also complemented by the recommendation for practice.
