Internal communication in multinational companies operating in the Czech republic

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá interní komunikací v nadnárodních společnostech působících v ČR. Obecně charakterizuje pojem komunikace, především se zabývá nástroji interní komunikace používanými v nadnárodních společnostech. Snaží se zodpovědět otázku, které nástroje interní komunikace považují vedoucí pracovníci sledovaných společností za účinné, a které naopak upřednostňují zaměstnanci. Hlavní částí práce je výzkum preferencí nástrojů interní komunikace, spokojenost s interní komunikací a firemní kulturou u skupiny zaměstnanců ve vybraných nadnárodních společnostech. Dále práce slouží k porovnání interní komunikace mezi jednotlivými kulturami ve zkoumaných nadnárodních společnostech. Pro tento výzkum byl sestaven „Dotazník interní komunikace v nadnárodních společnostech působících v ČR“. Otázky byly formulovány tak, aby vystihly záměr této diplomové práce, aby byly snadno zpracovatelné zaměstnanci vybraných nadnárodních společností a zároveň dokázaly přinést odpovědi na stanovené hypotézy. Diplomová práce by měla pomoci hlavně vedoucím pracovníkům ve zkoumaných společnostech k výběru vhodných komunikačních nástrojů pro šíření informací ve společnosti a následně tak předat doporučení jak efektivněji komunikovat.

Abstract:

This thesis is concerned with the internal communication in multinational companies in the Czech Republic. It generally defines the notion of communication and it mainly deals with the tools of internal communication, which are being used in multinational companies. It is an attempt to answer the question which tools of internal communication are considered by the managers of the surveyed companies as effective. The main part of the thesis is a research of tools of internal communication, satisfaction with internal communication and with the corporate culture by a group of employees in the surveyed companies. For this research the „Questionaire of internal communication in multinational companies in the Czech Republic“ was used. The questions were formed so as to meet the aim of the thesis, to be easily answered by the employees and to bring the answers for the hypotheses. The thesis should be helpful mainly for the managers of surveyed companies for choosing of suitable tools of internal communication for the transmission of information in companies and then give recommendations how to communicate more effectively.
