Company strategic analysis

Abstract:

Diploma thesis „Company strategic analysis“ deals with the complex strategic analysis of company Libellius s.r.o. by using the available strategic analysis methods. The goal is to create an appropriate strategy and to define the competitiveness of the business. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, which focuses on definition of strategic analysis, basic concepts such as strategy and strategic management, the impact of analysis on company development, its external and internal tools and methodology. Within the practical part, the theoretical knowledge from the first part is applied. Based on the defined tools, key areas for the enterprise are identified as strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The external environment of the business is analyzed using SLEPT analysis and the Porter’s five forces model, while the internal environment is analyzed by the 7S Model, BCG analysis and financial analysis. The outputs of the individual analyses are summarized in the form of SPACE analysis, on the basis of which are defined the recommendation for company Libellius s.r.o.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Strategická analýza podniku“ sa zaoberá vykonaním komplexnej strategickej analýzy podniku Libellius s.r.o. s použitím dostupných metód strategickej analýzy. Cieľom je vytvorenie vhodnej stratégie a definovať tak konkurencieschopnosť podniku. Práca je členená na teoretickú časť, kde je definovaná strategická analýza, základné pojmy ako stratégia a strategické riadenie, vplyv analýzy na vývoj podniku, jej vonkajšie a vnútorné nástroje a metodika. V rámci praktickej časti sú aplikované teoretické poznatky z prvej časti. Na základe vymedzených nástrojov sú identifikované kľúčové oblasti pre podnik v podobe silných, slabých stránok, príležitostí a hrozieb. Vonkajšie prostredie podniku je analyzované pomocou SLEPT analýzy a Porterovho modelu piatich síl, zatiaľ čo vnútorné prostredie je analyzované modelom 7S, BCG analýzou a finančnou analýzou. Výstupy jednotlivých analýz sú sumarizované v podobe SPACE analýzy, na báze ktorej sú formulované návrh odporúčaní pre podnik Libellius s.r.o.
