Cost-benefit analysis of a selected economic entity

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnocení hospodaření vybraného podnikatelského subjektu. V první části je zpracována literární rešerše z odborných zdrojů, která je zaměřena na definici jednotlivých klíčových pojmů. Teoretická část zahrnuje deskripci nákladů, výnosů a výsledku hospodaření, která obsahuje jejich klasifikaci a využití. Nedílnou součástí je i popis vybraných ukazatelů finanční analýzy, a to konkrétně horizontální a vertikální analýzy a výkonnost podniku. V praktické části práce je představena společnost Panasonic Networks Czech, s. r. o., která je předmětem empirické části. Z vypracované analýzy absolutních ukazatelů vyplývají výkyvy ve struktuře nákladů a výnosů, které byly identifikovány ve sledovaném období. U zjištěných výsledků poměrových ukazatelů je následně provedena komparace s výkonností v daném odvětví. V závěru práce jsou uvedeny návrhy opatření, které vycházejí ze zjištění realizovaných analýz a poskytují zlepšení v oblasti budoucího řízení nákladů a výnosů.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the management of a selected business entity. In the first part, a literature search from professional sources is prepared, which is focused on the definition of individual key terms. The theoretical part includes a description of costs, revenues and profit and loss, which includes their classification and use. A description of selected financial analysis indicators, namely horizontal and vertical analysis and business performance, is also an integral part. In the practical part of the thesis, the company Panasonic Networks Czech, s. r. o. is introduced, which is the subject of the empirical part. From the developed analysis of absolute indicators, fluctuations in the structure of costs and revenues that were identified in the period under study are shown. The identified results of the ratio indicators are then compared with the performance of the industry. The thesis concludes with suggestions for action based on the findings of the analyses carried out and providing improvements in the area of future cost and revenue management.
