Children's rights in the view of children

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na práva dětí z jejich pohledu. Zda znají dokument Úmluva o právech dítěte a jestli jsou z jejich pohledu dětská práva dodržována. V teoretické části se chci zaměřit na historii dětských práv a jak se dětská práva vyvíjela až do současnosti. Chtěla bych identifikovat dokumenty, které v současnosti existují. V praktické části budu zjišťovat znalost žáků ze základní školy o Úmluvě o právech dítěte a zda vědí, na koho by se obrátili, v případě, že by došlo k porušení jejich práv. Práce bude také směřované na pedagogické pracovníky, u kterých budu zjišťovat, zda znají dokument Úmluva o právech dítěte a jestli ho dodržují. Dále jakou formou vyučují látku zaměřenou na dětská práva, pokud vůbec takovou látku vyučují nebo zda je obsažena ve studijním programu. Cílem práce je informovat o problematice práv dětí, seznámit s její historií i současností, představit Úmluvu o právech dítěte a zjistit, jak jsou práva dítěte dodržována.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the rights of children from their perspective. Whether they know the document Convention on the Rights of the Child and whether children's rights are respected from their point of view. In the theoretical part, I want to focus on the history of children's rights and how children's rights have evolved until today. I would like to identify the documents that currently exist. In the practical part, I will investigate the knowledge of primary school pupils about the Convention on the Rights of the Child and whether they know who they would turn to if their rights were violated. The work will also be directed at teaching staff, who I will be surveying to find out if they are aware of the Convention on the Rights of the Child document and if they comply with it. Furthermore, in what form do they teach the substance focused on children's rights, if at all, or whether it is included in the curriculum. The aim of the work is to inform about the issue of children's rights, to introduce its history and present, to introduce the Convention on the Rights of the Child and to find out how children's rights are respected.
