Harmonisation of financial reporting

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na problematiku harmonizace finančního výkaznictví. Cílem práce je objasnit rozdíly v účtování mezi českou legislativou a mezinárodními účetními standardy se zaměřením na leasing. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola se věnuje charakteristice finančního výkaznictví a jeho mezinárodní harmonizaci. Druhá kapitola se soustřeďuje na rozdíly ve vykazování mezi českou legislativou a mezinárodními účetními standardy, s přímým zaměřením na rozdíly v oblasti leasingu. V praktické aplikaci jsou ukázány rozdíly v účtování mezi oběma systémy na konkrétním příkladu, a také je zde zpracována analýza časové řady vývoje tržeb z prodeje majetku řádně ukončených leasingových smluv.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on issues related to the uniformity of financial reporting. The goal is to clarify the differences that exist in accounting between Czech legislation and international accounting standards, with the focus on leasing. The work is divided into three chapters. The first deals with the characteristics of financial reporting and the means for providing international uniformity. The second chapter concentrates on the differences in reporting between Czech legislation and international accounting standards, with direct focus on the differences in the area of leasing. There are show in the practical application differences in accounting between both systems using a specific example, where is also conducted an analysis involving a timeline of revenue growth from the sale of assets after the proper conclusion of leasing contracts.
