Web Map Services Using Geographical Data
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou geografických informačních systémů, geografických dat a webových mapových služeb (standardy WMS a WFS). Zvláštní pozornost je věnována příkladům, ukazujícím možnosti jejich využití v praxi, a to včetně očekávaného vývoje v blízké budoucnosti. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis introduces the problematics of geographic information systems, geographic data and web map services (WMS and WFS standards). Special attention is paid to examples of practical usage, including expected development in near future. Practical part demonstrates the usage through design and development of a web application, which would serve end users to plan trips.
