Education during the Covid-19 pandemic in elementary schools located in socially excluded areas

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje distanční výuce jako důsledku uzavření škol v období pandemie nemoci Covid-19 v kontextu sociálně vyloučených lokalit. Cílem práce je zjistit, v čem je z pohledu učitele specifické vzdělávání v období pandemie Covid-19 na základních školách v sociálně vyloučených lokalitách. Teoretická část představuje kontext distanční výuky a vzdělávání v sociálně vyloučených lokalitách. Pro empirickou část byl zvolen kvalitativní výzkum, na jehož základě bylo uskutečněno šest rozhovorů s třídními učiteli na základní škole. Získaná data reprezentují učitelem vnímaná specifika vzdělávání v období pandemie v sociálně vyloučených lokalitách. Dále identifikují subjektivní pohled učitele na jeho práci, mapují průběh distanční výuky na jednotlivých školách a shrnují vnímané překážky i pozitiva této výuky.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with distance learning as a result of school closures during the Covid-19 pandemic in the context of socially excluded areas. The aim of this work is to find out what, from a teacher's point of view, are the specifics of education during the Covid-19 pandemic in primary schools in socially excluded areas. The theoretical part represents the context of distance learning and education in socially excluded areas. Qualitative research was chosen for the empirical part, on the basis of which six interviews were conducted with class teachers at primary schools. The collected data represents teacher-perceived specifics of education during a pandemic in socially excluded locations. They also identify a teacher's subjective view of his work, map the course of distance learning at each school, and summarize perceived difficulties as well as the positives of that teaching.
