Upbringing and education of pupils with autistic spectrum disorders

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce byla zaměřena na výchovu a vzdělávání žáků s poruchami autistického spektra. Bakalářská práce je členěna do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá charakteristikou poruch autistického spektra a symptomatologickou dyádou a v neposlední řadě etiologií a dělením poruch autistického spektra. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na definici augmentativní a alternativní komunikace, následně se zabývá komunikačními systémy augmentativní a alternativní komunikace, a v poslední řadě strukturovaným učením a jeho principy. Ve třetí kapitole nalezneme empirickou část bakalářské práce. Následně obsahuje stanovení hlavního cíle a jednotlivých dílčích cílů a dále představuje metodiku výzkumného šetření, stručnou charakteristiku výzkumného prostředí a jednotlivé případové studie. Na konci kapitoly jsou stanoveny závěry výzkumného šetření. V bakalářské práci byla použita metoda kvalitativního výzkumu s použitím technik případové studie, polostrukturovaného rozhovoru, zúčastněného pozorování a analýzy dokumentů. Získaná data byla následně analyzována a interpretována. Závěrečná část kapitoly prezentuje závěry výzkumného šetření.

Abstract:

The main focus of this bachelor thesis was on upbringing and education of students with autistic spectrum disorders. The bachelor thesis has been divided into three separate chapters. The first chapter speaks about characteristics of autistic spectrum disorders and symptomatological dyad and also about etiology including the separation of autistic spectrum disorders. The second chapter is aimed on the definition of augmentative and alternative communication, also it’s mentioning the communication systems of augmentative and alternative communication, together with the structured learning and also its principles. Within the third chapter we will find the practical part of the thesis. Subsequently, it contains the determination of the main objective and individual sub-goals. Further it presents the methodology of the research, brief characteristics of the research environment and also the individual case studies. At the end of the chapter, the conclusions of the research has been outlined. The bachelor thesis is using a method of qualitative research in conjunction with case studies techniques, semi-structured interviews, and participation in observation including an overall document analysis. Obtained data were subsequently analysed and interpreted. The final part of the chapter presents the conclusions of the research investigation.
