Communication Competence of Primary School Pupils with Specific Learning Disabilities

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá tématem komunikativních kompetencí žáků se specifickou poruchou učení v běžné základní škole. Práce je členěna na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. Teoretická část vychází z odborné literatury a je rozdělená do tří kapitol. První z nich pojednává o problematice specifických poruch učení. Zaměřuje se na charakteristiku těchto poruch, jejich klasifikaci a popis projevů. Dále kapitola pojednává o etiologii poruch učení, diagnostice a jejich následné terapii. Druhá kapitola je zaměřená na vzdělávání žáků se specifickými poruchami učení. Kapitola vymezuje legislativní rámec pro vzdělávání těchto žáků, zaměřuje se na Rámcový vzdělávací program pro základní vzdělávání, charakterizuje inkluzivní vzdělávání a klasifikuje klíčové kompetence. Ve třetí kapitole jsou vymezeny pojmy související s oblastí komunikace a komunikativních kompetencí. Kapitola se věnuje komunikaci a ontogenezi lidské řeči. Dále nabízí pohled na jazykové roviny, popisuje specifika v komunikaci žáků se specifickou poruchou učení a komunikativní kompetence zakotvené v Rámcovém vzdělávacím programu. Čtvrtá kapitola tvoří výzkumnou část této práce a vymezuje cíle a dílčí cíle práce, charakterizuje výzkumný vzorek, popisuje použité metody a analyzuje výsledky výzkumného šetření. Hlavním cílem prvního výzkumného šetření práce bylo analyzovat komunikativní kompetence u žáků se specifickou poruchou učení v běžné ZŠ. Pro naplnění výzkumného šetření byly použity metody kvalitativního výzkumu. Cílem druhého výzkumného šetření bylo analyzovat počty inkludovaných žáků se specifickou poruchou učení ve školním roce 2016/2017 a 2022/2023 v této ZŠ v Moravskoslezském kraji.

Abstract:

The presented diploma thesis deals with communicative competences of students with specific learning disabilities in a regular elementary school. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a research part. The theoretical part is based on scientific literature and has three chapters. The first chapter deals with the issue of specific learning disabilities. It focuses on the characteristics of disabilities, their classification and description of manifestations. The chapter also discusses aetiology of learning disabilities, diagnostics and subsequent therapy. The second chapter focuses on education of students with specific learning disabilities. The chapter defines the legislative framework for teaching such students. The general educational programme for elementary education characterises inclusive education and classifies key competences. The third chapter defines terms related to communication and communicative competences. The chapter deals with communication and ontogenesis of human speech. It also offers a view of linguistic levels, describes specific aspects of communicating with students with specific learning disabilities and communicative competences embedded in the General Educational Programme. The research part of the thesis is presented in the fourth chapter that defines objectives and sub-objectives of the thesis, characterises the research sample, describes the used methods and analyses the results of the research survey. The main objective of the first research survey was to analyse communicative competences of students with specific learning disabilities in a regular elementary school using the qualitative research method. The objective of the second research survey was to analyse the numbers of included students with specific learning disabilities in the academic years of 2016/2017 and 2022/2023 in an elementary school in the Moravian-Silesian Region.
