The place and role of emergency medical services in crisis preparedness in the Prague region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o místu a úloze zdravotnické záchranné služby v krizové připravenosti v regionu Praha. V práci je popsána a analyzována zdravotnická záchranná služba hl. m. Prahy. Jsou zde analyzovány procesy v běžném provozu, ale i při řešení krizových situací. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny základní pojmy a popis systémů, které jsou v souvislostech s danou tématikou. Ty plynule navazují na zdravotnickou záchrannou službu, jak funguje a co je stěžejní při krizových situacích. V další části práce jsou kapitoly, které se týkají metod, jež byly použity a snaží se vydefinovat stav systému, který je nastaven pro zdravotnickou záchrannou službu hl. města Prahy. Zvolené metody detekují možné chyby a identifikují případné nedostatky. Pro celkový obraz jsou vykresleny klady i zápory celého systému pomocí analýzy a práci doplňují návrhy řešení.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the place and role of emergency medical services in crisis preparedness in the Prague region. At work is to describe and analyze the medici rescue service of the capital city. There are analyze processes at normal days, but also in a crisis situations. The theoretical part contains the basic terms and description of systems that are related to the topic. These are seamlessly connected to the medical emergency services, how they work and what is crucial in crisis situations. In the next part of the work there are chapters relating to the methods that have been used and are trying to define the state of the system that is set up for medical rescue services in the capital city. The selected methods detect possible mistakes and identify possible deficiencies. For the overall picture, the pros and cons of the whole system are shown through analysis and the work is completed by possible solutions.
