Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice konceptu společenské odpovědnosti firem, při-čemž hlavní pozornost je věnována mobilním operátorům působícím na území České republiky. V teoretické část práce je představena obecná teorie a základní hodnotová východiska konceptu společenské zodpovědnosti firem. Práce přináší syntézu dosavadních poznatků o tomto konceptu, nabízí srovnání různých teoretických konceptů i přístupů k problematice společenské zodpovědnosti a obecněji i trvale udržitelného podnikání. V této části práce je představen základní třístupňový koncept triple-bottom-line, ale i další pojetí, která lze najít v odborné literatuře. Pozornost je věnována také stakeholderské teorii a mezinárodnímu rozměru společenské zodpovědnosti. V teoretické rovině se práce také vyrovnává s námitkami odpůrců celého konceptu CSR. Praktická část práce se věnuje komparativní analýze výsledků získaných v rámci kvalita-tivního výzkumu. Tento výzkum probíhal formou strukturovaných rozhovorů mezi mana-žery společenské odpovědnosti českých mobilních operátorů. Tato část nabízí srovnání základních bodů a charakteristik modelu společenské odpovědnosti organizací, tak jak ho implementovali jednotlivé společnosti. Z výzkumu vyplynulo deset výzkumných otázek, které toto srovnání nabízejí. Diplomovou práci uzavírá projektová část, která na základě syntézy poznatků z praktické i teoretické části nabízí ideální model implementace konceptu společenské odpovědnosti firem pro mobilního operátora, který by chtěl působit na českém trhu.

Abstract:

The present master thesis deals with the corporate responsibility issue and focuses on mobile operators in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis elaborates on the general theory and ethical principles of the corporate responsibility concept. The thesis brings a synthesis of the current theories related to corporate responsibility and provides a benchmark of various theories and approaches to corporate responsibility issue and sustainable business in general. This part of the thesis elaborates upon the basic triple-bottom-line concept and other theories that can be found in the literature. Additional focus of this part is on the stakeholder?s theory and the international framework of corporate responsibility. Moreover, the thesis also deals with main objections of the critiques of the entire corporate social responsibility concept at the theoretical level. The practical part deals with a comparative analysis of the results stemming from the qualitative survey. This survey was conducting by structured interviews with managers of the Czech mobile operators focused on the corporate social responsibility. This part elaborates on the key principles and characteristics of different models of corporate social responsibility as these were implemented by various companies. The research gave rise to ten survey questions that allow for this comparison. The master thesis concludes by a project part that provides a synthesis of the practical and theoretical part that forms basis for introducing an optimal model for implementation of the corporate social responsibility concept of a mobile operator under the conditions of the Czech market.
