Analysis of faults in communication by managers in selected enterprise

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zjištění, jaké dělají manažeři komunikační chyby, jaké jsou v dnešní době specifické komunikační chyby a které to převážně jsou. Práci jsem rozdělila na dvě části – část teoretickou a aplikační. V teoretické části jsou vysvětlena klíčová slova. Mezi klíčové pojmy teoretické části patří komunikace, chyby v komunikaci, verbální a neverbální komunikace, asertivita pro manažery a vlastnosti manažerů. Teoretická část je zaměřena na obecné vysvětlení komunikace a její dělení, na její funkce a modely. Dále jsem uvedla asertivní chování manažera, vlastnosti manažerů a jejich schopnosti. Na závěr jsou zmíněny prostředky pro manažerskou komunikaci. V aplikační části se věnuji vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření, které je složeno z devatenácti otázek. Dotazníky jsem rozdala patnácti vybraným respondentům společnosti EP stanice a všechny byly vyplněny. Kromě dotazníku jsem uskutečnila pohovor s dvěma manažery vybraného podniku.

Abstract:

The primary goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out what are the main communication errors that managers make and what are the specific communication errors in this day and age. The thesis is divided into two parts – a theoretical part and an application part. The theoretical serves as the basis for explanation of the key words. Among these are: communication, communication errors, verbal and non-verbal communication, assertiveness for managers, and managerial characteristics. Communication in general is described in this part, as well as its functions and models. Further on, assertive managerial behavior is at the center of attention, and also characteristics of managers and their abilities. This is followed by a brief description of means for managerial communication. The application part deals with assessing the results of a questionnaire that consists of nineteen questions. The questionnaires were handed out to fifteen employees of the EP Station company and all of them were completed. Besides the above mentioned questionnaires, two managers of the company were interviewed.
