Předmětem práce je rozbor a vývoj pravidel kapitálové přiměřenosti obchodních bank. Pozornost je věnována konceptu kapitálové přiměřenosti Basel I a zejména jsou zde rozpracována nová pravidla označovaná jako Basel II. Jsou definovány tři pilíře Basel II a je popsána jejich náplň. The main goal of this thesis is analysis and development of the rules of capital adequacy of commercial banks. It is concerned mainly on concept of the capital adequacy Basel I and also on new rules defined and their contents are described as well.
