Influences determining the learning success of the pupils with mild mental disabilities

Abstract:

V diplomové práci se zabývám vysoce aktuálními tématy, jako jsou edukace žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami, perspektiva žáků s lehkým mentálním postižením nebo inkluzivní didaktika. V nejbližší budoucnosti čeká naše základní školství mnoho převratných změn, které se dotknou všech aktérů edukačního procesu základního proudu. Otázkou zůstává, jak jsou připravované změny pedagogicky, speciálně pedagogicky, psychologicky, legislativně i lidsky připraveny, nehledě na otázky personální, kvalifikační, materiální a společenské. Osobně se domnívám, že připravovaný systém je nekoncepční, neuzavřený, s příliš mnoha neznámými a řadou multioborových úskalí a jeho překotné nasazení bude jen zbytečně eskalovat napětí ve školství a potažmo ve společnosti. Teoretická část diplomové práce vychází ze shrnutí toho, jakým způsobem se vyvíjely jednotlivé vzdělávací koncepty v edukaci žáků s postižením. Druhá kapitola se zabývá vlivem konkrétních faktorů, které se spolupodílejí na studijní úspěšnosti žáků základních škol. Závěrečná kapitola teoretické části, v prvních dvou subkapitolách, předkládá rozbor vlivu alternativních přístupů a rodinného prostředí na biodromální vývoj žáků těchto škol. Třetí a čtvrtá subkapitola cílí na chystané novinky, především v rámci novely Školského zákona č. 82/2015 Sb., tedy na vztah inkluzivní didaktiky a základní školy zřízené podle paragrafu č. 16, odstavce 9 Školského zákona, podpůrná opatření a Akční plán inkluzivního vzdělávání na léta 2016 – 2018. Celá tato část je doplněna řadou mých praktických komentářů, upřesnění a porovnání. Jádrem přístupu k výzkumné části je moje vlastní pedagogická zkušenost z práce na základní škole zřízené podle paragrafu č. 16, odstavce 9 Školského zákona (třídní učitel II. stupně, učitel všeobecně vzdělávacích předmětů, školní metodik prevence, autor většiny školních projektů, tvůrce školního vzdělávacího programu, předseda školního sportovního klubu, vedoucí zájmových kroužků, trenér školní reprezentace v mnoha sportovních odvětvích). Záměrem praktické části je především více přiblížit všech osmnáct žáků, kteří byli do výzkumu zapojeni, nahlédnout do jejich myšlení, přání a způsobu uvažování, především z perspektivy dalšího životního vývoje. Výzkum mapoval i mnoho dalších faktorů, které ovlivňovaly nejen edukaci, ale i způsob života těchto dětí. Nedílnou součástí výzkumu je i krátké dotazníkové šetření rodičů těchto absolventů, neboť se domnívám, že bez přehodnocení státní sociálně – edukační podpory nějakým způsobem rizikových rodin a rodičů, nelze o inkluzivním vzdělávání jejich dětí ani přemýšlet. Ze závěrů výzkumné části jsem se pokusil vytvořit nástin doporučení pro pedagogické pracovníky i rodiče. Toto bodové schéma navrhuje, jak s dítětem se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami pracovat v novém, inkluzivním prostředí.

Abstract:

In this dissertation I am dealing with very current topics, such as the education of pupils with special educational needs, the perspective of pupils with a light mental disability or the inclusive didactic. Many ground-breaking changes in our school system which will affect every partaker of any primary stream educational process are going to happen in a near future. The question remains, how the upcoming changes are prepared from the pedagogical, special-pedagogical, psychological, legislative and humane view, regardless of personal, qualificational, material and social questions. I personally believe that the prepared system is non-conceptual, open-ended, with too many unknowns and a range of multi-disciplinary pitfalls and its precipitous placement will only unnecessarily escalate the tensions in schools and consequently in society. The theoretical part of the dissertation is based on a summary, how some particular educational concepts in the education of mentally challenged pupils have developed. The second chapter deals with the influence of specific factors which contribute to the study success of pupils in schools. The final chapter of the theoretical part, the first two sub-chapters, presents an analysis of the impact of alternative approaches and the family environment on biodromal development of pupils in these schools. The third and fourth sub-chapter target the upcoming news, especially in the context of the amendment to the School Act no. 82/2015 Coll., thus at the relation of an inclusive didactic and a primary school, supportive measures and NAPIV for the years 2016 – 2018. This whole part is supplemented with a range of my practical comments, specifications and comparisons. The core of my approach to the research part is my own pedagogical experience gained from my work at a primary school (a class teacher at the upper primary school, a teacher of academic subjects, a methodical leader of prevention, an author of the majority of school projects, a creator of the educational programme, a chairperson of the school sports club, a head of the recreational courses, a coach of the school team in many sports branches).The intention of the practical part is primarily to give insight to all 18 pupils involved in this research, to look into their thoughts, wishes and way of thinking, mainly from the perspective of their further life development. The research mapped also many other factors that influenced not merely the education, but also the way of living of these children. An integral part of the research is also a brief survey of parents of these graduates, because I believe that without a reassessment of the national social – educational support of somehow risky families and parents, it is impossible even to think about inclusive education of their children. I tried to create an outline of recommendations for the teaching staff and parents from conclusions of the research part. These points suggest how to work with a child with special educational needs in a new inclusive environment.
