Homeless People versus Human Dignity

Abstract:

Předmětem této práce je pochopit situaci osob bez přístřeší, které užívají službu Seďárna mobilní buňky pro osoby bez přístřeší v Otrokovicích. Seďárna je nesociální služba, kterou provozuje město Otrokovice společně s Charitou sv. Anežky Otrokovice jakožto krizovou pomoc pro osoby bez přístřeší. Tyto osoby zde mohou přečkat mrazivou noc v teple. Přestože ve městě Otrokovice je k dispozici celá řada sociálních služeb pro osoby bez přístřeší, tak od roku 2009, kdy služba funguje, je Seďárna poměrně hojně využívána. O podmínkách služby, sociální situaci uživatelů, jejich motivaci užívat právě tuto službu i o tom, jak sami uživatelé rozumí své vlastní životní sociální situaci, nebyl dosud proveden žádný výzkum.

Abstract:

The object of this thesis is to understand the situation of homeless people who use the service Seďárna - mobile units for homeless people in Otrokovice. Seďárna is unsocial service operated by The Local Governement of Otrokovice, together with Caritas St. Agnes Otrokovice as emergency assistance for the homeless. These people here can survive cold night in the warmth. Although there is a wide range of social services for the homeless in Otrokovice, Seďárna is fairly widely used since 2009, when the service has started. The social situation of the users, their motivation to use this service and how the users understand themselves and his own life social situation, have not been the subject of any research.
