The Quality of Workikg Life of Graduates of Study Program Public Policy and Human Resources

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem pracovního života absolventů oboru Veřejné politiky a lidských zdrojů Fakulty sociálních studií Masarykovy univerzity v Brně. V teoretické části je nejprve rozebírán význam zaměstnání. Autor studie informuje o konceptu kvality pracovního života, který popisuje vlastnosti zaměstnání u jednotlivců. V kapitole o metodologii je definována kvalitativní strategie výzkumu, kterou autor použil pro šetření absolventů VPLZ. Šetření proběhlo formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se 14 absolventy zmíněného oboru. Výzkum byl také podpořen kvantitativním dotazníkem. V závěrečné kapitole jsou prezentovány výsledky výzkumu. K hlavním zjištěním průzkumu patří to, že absolventi oboru VPLZ zaměstnaní mimo obor hodnotí záporně svou spokojenost s aspektem výdělku ve svém zaměstnání. Absolventi zaměstnaní přímo v oboru lidských zdrojů jsou s aspektem výdělku všichni spokojen, což je však vykoupeno jejich nespokojeností s pracovní vytížeností. Skupina absolventů zaměstnaných jen částečně v oboru lidských zdrojů, pak dopadla kvantitativním srovnáním podstatně nejlépe ze všech tři jmenovaných kategorií. Téměř všichni zkoumaní absolventi pak hodnotí kladně teoretický přínos studia oboru VPLZ. Několikrát se ve výsledcích ale objevilo to, že by do výuky VPLZ měl být zařazen předmět zákoníku práce, který je podle několika respondentů ze skupin zaměstnaných v oboru LZ klíčový pro jejich práci. Celkově pak bylo spokojeno ve svém zaměstnání 12 ze 14 dotazovaných.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the topic of the working life of graduates of Public Policy and Human Resources (Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University, Brno). In the theoretical part of the thesis is discussed the importance of job for people. Author of the thesis informs about concept of quality of work life. This concept decribes the characterictics of the working life of individuals. In the methodological part of the thesis is defined qualitative research method. The research with 14 graduates of PPHR was also supported by short quantitative questionnaire. The final chapter presents the results of survey. To the main findings belong that graduates of PPHR employed outside the their field of study rate negatively the aspect of their satisfaction with earnings in their jobs. Graduates employed directly in the field of human resources are all satisfied with aspect of earnings, which is subsituted for their dissatisfaction with the workload. Group of graduates employed only partially in the field of human resources, then fell substantially by quantitative comparison of the best of all three nominated categories. Almost all surveyed graduates then welcomes the theoretical contribution of the study of PPHR. Several times in the results but it appeared that study of PPHR should be contain the subject to the Labour Law, which according to several respondent of groups of employees in the field HR crucial to their work. Overall, it was then satisfied in their jobs 12 out of 14 respondents.
