Study of protein interaction between Rad54 and Mus81/Mms4
Abstract:
Homologní rekombinace hraje klíčovou roli při eliminaci dvouřetězcových zlomů v DNA. Dílčím cílem tohoto projektu je studium vazby DNA s proteiny podílejícími se na mechanizmu homologní rekombinace. Zaměřili jsme se především na charakterizaci proteinové interakce mezi Rad54 a Mus81/Mms4 komplexem.
Abstract:
Homologous recombination (HR) plays a key role in the elimination of cytotoxic and genotoxic lesions induced by ionizing radiation, carcinogenic chemicals, and chemoterapeutic compounds. Main focus is study of DNA interaction of proteins involved in homologous recombination. Our main aim is characterization of Rad54 protein interaction with Mus81/Mms4 complex.
