The Evaluation of the Financial Situation of the Paulin Company with the Emphasis on the Receivable Management

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zhodnocením finanční situace firmy Paulín, s.r.o. v letech 2011- 2013. Cílem této práce je analyzovat danou společnost na základě jejich účetních výkazů a navrhnout opatření ke zlepšení její ekonomické situace. Zvláště pak se práce zaměří na analýzu pohledávek. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí - teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části je vysvětlen význam finanční analýzy a její účel, uživatelé finanční analýzy, zdroje informací a metody finanční analýzy, řízení pohledávek. V navazující praktické části je nejdříve představena firma Paulín, s.r.o. a následně provedena finanční analýza za období 2011-2013. V bakalářské práci je také řešen problém řízení pohledávek ve firmě. Prozkoumán je způsob správy, zajištění a vymáhání pohledávek. Na závěr jsou shrnuty výsledky jednotlivých analýz, upozornění na problémové oblasti a návrh způsobu jejich řešení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on evaluating the financial situation of the Paulin, s.r.o. company in the years of 2011 2013. The aim of the work is to analyze the above mentioned company based on their accounting statements and to suggest measures to improve its financial situation. Special attention is paid to analysing receivables. The paper is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. The importance of financial analysis and their purpose, users of financial analysis, source of information and methods of financial analysis and managing of receivables are explained and described in the first theoretical part. In the follow-up practical part, the Paulin, s.r.o. company is presented at first, followed by the financial analyses for the time period of 2001 2013. The issue of managing receivables in the company is also dealt with in this thesis. The administration, securing and recovery of receivables are also investigated in this thesis. In the end, the results of individual analyses are presented, the problem areas are highlighted and possible solutions are suggested.
