Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Mé tělo - můj chrám“ se zabývá tématem lidského těla. Popisuje, jakým způsobem jej vnímáme a co pro nás znamená. Věnuje se problematice kultu těla a následkům, které tento fenomén s sebou přináší. Také analyzuje zkušenost informantů, kteří se rozhodli formovat své tělo a zaměřili se na fitness. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část je strukturována do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola je věnována vnímání vlastního těla, uvědomění si své tělesnosti a utváření tělesného sebepojetí. Druhá kapitola popisuje historický vývoj ideálu krásy ženského a mužského těla, rozebírá kulturní odlišnosti ve vnímání postavy a zabývá se fenoménem kultu těla. Třetí kapitola objasňuje, jak se ke kultu těla staví média a proč dochází k působení mediálních vzorů. Poslední kapitola se věnuje tělu a kvalitě života. Zdůvodňuje potřebu hodnotného životního stylu, jeho provázanosti s volným časem a upozorňuje na rizika a úskalí spojená s přílišnou péčí o tělo. V empirické části je pomocí interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy rozebrána, popsána a interpretována zkušenost tří informantů, kteří se rozhodli udělat změnu v životním stylu a zaměřili se na tvarování vlastního těla a fitness.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis „My body - My temple“ is focusing on the subject of human body. It describes how we perceive it and what it means to us. It studies the issue of the cult of the body and the consequences, which this phenomenon brings with it. It also analyzes the experience of the informants, who have decided to form their own bodies with the help of fitness. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical part and empirical part. Theoretical part consists of four chapters. The first chapter is about the sense of one‘s body, realizing one‘s corporeal self and creating one’s body’s worth. The second chapter describes the historical development of the ideal woman‘s and man‘s body, it studies the cultural differences in perceiving the body and the cult of the body. The third chapter reveals how the media presents the cult of the body and why there is an influence of the media’s examples. The last chapter focuses on the body and the quality of life. It explains the need of quality life style and it’s interconnection with leisure and it warns about the risks and dangers concerning the excessive body care. Interpretative phenomenological analysis is used in the empirical part to create an analysis, description and interpretation of the experience of three informants, who have decided to change their life style and focused on shaping their body and fitness.
