Abstract:

Cílem práce je popsat měnověpolitické režimy České národní banky se zaměřením na cílování inflace ve sledovaném období. Teoretická část se nejprve zaměřuje na obecnou charakteristiku peněz, jejich jednotlivé funkce a formy a popisuje měnové agregáty. Následující kapitoly jsou věnovány České národní bance a inflaci. Kapitola o inflaci zahrnuje mimo jiné metody, kterými je inflace měřena a typy inflace. Praktická část popisuje jednotlivé režimy měnové politiky a soustředí se na režim cílo-vání inflace v letech 2018 až 2021. Studie je prováděna na roční bázi, kdy rozbor každého sledované-ho roku obsahuje vytvořenou prognózu a skutečný vývoj tuzemské ekonomiky. Data, kterými je pod-ložen prognózovaný i skutečný vývoj, jsou získána z oficiálních stránek České národní banky a České-ho statistického úřadu. Závěr práce obsahuje vyhodnocení úspěšnosti České národní banky ve stano-vení konkrétní měnové politiky.

Abstract:

The target of this thesis is to describe regimes of the monetary policy of the Czech National Bank with the focus on aiming at the inflation in an observed period. The theoretical part is first of all fo-cused on the general characteristics of money, its particular functions and forms, and it describes monetary aggregates. The following chapters are devoted to the Czech National Bank and the topic of inflation. The chapter about the inflation also includes methods used for measuring the inflation and the inflation types. The practical part describes the particular regimes of the monetary policy and focuses on aiming at the inflation in the years of 2018 to 2021. The research has been done on a yearly basis with an analysis of every year containing a prognosis for the years in question and the real development of the domestic economy. The data, the prognosticated as well as the real deve-lopment are based on, has been obtained from the official websites of the Czech National Bank and the Czech Statistical Office. The conclusion of the thesis contains an evaluation of the Czech Natio-nal Bank´s rate of success in setting a particular monetary policy.
